Clutch Spring Compressor / Transmission Foot Press. This press uses a foot pedal to compress the clutch spring of a transmission. Your hands remain free to remove snap rings and do other work. You will find this style press in every transmission repair shop. It is designed for professional use and is much quicker and easier to use than hand held models. It saves frustration, time and money.

This is a universal press which works on both foreign and domestic as well as large truck transmissions. It includes a set of long tool legs which work for many applications. Specialty tool legs can be bought separately if needed. Virtually any adapter or tool leg which slides over a 5/8" diameter shaft can be used with this press, including those from hand press models and other manufacturers.

The body is schedule 40 steel tubing and the shaft is cold rolled steel. The platform is 5" steel channel which resists bending better than a flat platform. Gussets are 1/8" steel plate. The body has a rough hammered texture, powder coat finish for sure handling and increased durability. All moving parts are black oxide or zinc coated. No plastic. The press is made in the USA.
